At Grand River Gardens we are committed to a regenerative farming system. This means we give back more to the soil than we take so the soil remains rich and nutritious and there is a future in sustainable farming for generations to come. We grow a wide variety of non-GMO vegetables and herbs on a little over 1/4 acre. This biodiversity in a small area is in itself a sustainable method of farming and is a haven for pollinators.
A large percentage of our produce is heirloom (heritage) and organic. All our produce is organically grown! Meaning we skip the pesticides and chemicals in exchange for natural pest & weed management strategies.
We practice companion planting which means plants that benefit each other are grown in close proximity to each other. This helps with pest and disease control naturally.
Get Our Produce!
You can get your hands on our produce by joining our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. This is a fun and easy way to get fresh seasonal vegetables straight from the farm to your home. You can also receive additional items such as free-range eggs from our farm and raw honey upon request for an additional cost! If you are new to CSAs (most people are) you can contact us to find out how it can work best for you.
On occasion we sell some of our produce at "Landman Gardens & Bakery" farm store. The store is located on our farm just north of Grand Valley. Watch for updates on what's in-season on our instagram and facebook pages.
Wholesale: If you are a restaurant owner or chef within a 40km radius and interested in using our produce, we would love to hear from you. Pleasecontact us directly to discuss.
